Linda began singing at the age of 3 and always sang wherever the opportunity was and if not, she made one. In her early school years she spent much of her time at her lunch and break times singing on the steps of the school building and the kids loved it and she love doing it.
At the age of 15 she had formed her first group called the Gospel Servants and had her first singing studio recording by the age of 16.
At the age of 18 she entered her first talent contest held at the Greenville Memorial Stadium, Greenville, South Carolina, and walked away with three first-place trophies. God always had His hand on her, and to Him alone be the glory.
Opportunity knocked at her door again in her 20s as her singing career had grown, and she had the privilege of sharing the stage with many well-known artists such as, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash , June Carter, the group Alabama, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, and many more.
Then in 1981 she had an engagement in Las Vegas singing with a group called Southern Gold at the Aladdin Casino Hotel where she met her husband, Nick Machi and it was love at first sight. He then became her manager and promoted her singing career in the Las Vegas area. At that time he decided to form a group of musicians to accompany Linda, naming the group, Linda Byers and the Southbound Express. They played the Las Vegas circuit from 1981-1984, in such places as Caesar’s Palace, Golden Nugget, Fremont Hotel, Sam’s Town, Frontier, Arizona Charlie’s, and many more. Linda also performed private parties for such people as Steve Wynn, entrepreneur and casino owner of the Golden Nugget and the Mirage Hotel Casinos.
Linda then made a change in venue, and she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee with her husband Nick where he pursued her music career diligently, making many major contacts to help promote Linda’s career, which included Owen Bradley one of the greatest music producers in the Nashville area. He then formed a publishing company, Machi Publishing with BMI. At that time Linda, had written over 50 songs, which were put into their publishing company to promote her music talents in the songwriting realm and also in her God given singing abilities.
In 1997 Linda had an offer to move to Gulfport, Mississippi to continue with her music career. The Lord then stepped into the picture big time as she was led to continued her singing career in the gospel field. Linda and Nick were called into ministry at that time, and they formed Lynnic Global Ministries, traveling throughout the United States as evangelists doing the Lord’s work. During their ministry the blessings of the Lord came upon Linda mightily as she was blessed to produce her first CD album in Nashville, Tennessee, which was an act of God with a donation from an unknown party who heard Linda’s music and was compelled to make a $10,000 donation to the ministry for her first CD album to me completed. To date Linda now has a total of five CD albums available for sale and she is presently working on her sixth CD album. Linda and Nick are approaching their 15th year in evangelistic ministry as the Lord has done a mighty work through their obedience and perseverance to serve Him.
Machi Publishing was established in 1990, in Nashville, Tennessee with BMI. Nick Machi and Linda Machi, owners of this publishing company are presently very active and Linda has published and wrote over 40 songs that our registered with their publishing company listed below.
